Welcome

Bristol County Agricultural High School is a public high school serving all Bristol County residents.

Any eighth, ninth or tenth grade student who is a resident of Bristol County who expects to be promoted to the grade they seek to enter by his/her local school district is eligible to apply for fall admission or admission during the school year provided that space is available. Resident students will be evaluated using the criteria contained in this admission policy. Priority for admission will be given to Bristol County residents (students from Acushnet, Attleboro, Berkley, Dartmouth, Dighton, Easton, Fairhaven, Fall River, Freetown, Mansfield, New Bedford, North Attleboro, Norton, Raynham, Rehoboth, Seekonk, Somerset, Swansea, Taunton, and Westport). Students who are not residents of Bristol County are eligible to apply and will be evaluated using the same criteria as in-district applicants. Out of county residents are accepted, but must receive written approval from the Superintendent of their sending district.

October through December: A presentation, by our Admissions Coordinator about our programs will be made at your school.

January through March: The Admission's Coordinator will return to your school and give interested students an interview.

March through April: Acceptance letters will be sent to the students.

April through June: Placement testing for accepted students will be held at the school.

August: Orientation for incoming freshmen will take place the week prior to the first day of school.

Here at Bristol Aggie, we learn, work & tour in ALL weather! We recommend dressing for the elements, and wearing comfortable walking shoes. If you are wondering about the status of a tour, please contact Colleen Cronin at 508-669-6744 Ext 111.

Application Process

Step 1: Inquire

Step 2: Complete an Application

Apply online by clicking the "Apply Now" button, or clicking here. A hard copy of our Admissions Application is available upon request. To obtain a hard-copy of the Admissions Application, contact Colleen Cronin at 508-669-6744 Ext 111.

As part of the application process, prospective 9th grade students must submit the following information:

  • Official Report Cards (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Detailed Attendance Reports (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Detailed Conduct Reports (7th & 8th Grade)
  • Guidance Counselor Recommendation
  • Two (2) additional letters of recommendation (optional)
  • Upon receipt of this information, prospective students must schedule an interview prior to March 1st for consideration of timely acceptance.

Step 3: Interview

The Interview is a required step in the application process. Please schedule your interview by calling (508) 669-6744 Ext 111 or email ccronin@bcahs.com at least three weeks in advance to secure the date and time of your choice. We encourage all applicants to interview on campus.

Step 4: Testing

Placement Testing for Accepted students will be held at the school in April, May, and June.
